Cooperation
We cooperate with academic and industry partners from our lab at CIIRC CTU in Prague (Building B, room B-248). We primarily seek collaborators for research grant proposals, and we also support company R&D through joint research.
Typical topics include biosignal processing, motion analysis, VR/AR applications (including serious games), and hands-on work with sensing and experimental hardware.
Signal Processing
We develop and apply methods for processing data from wearable, biomedical, and experimental sensor systems. This includes the design of data-processing pipelines, signal cleaning, feature extraction, synchronization of multimodal data, and interpretation of measurements from real-world and laboratory experiments.
Our work may involve signals from wearable sensors, motion-tracking systems, physiological sensors, force platforms, and other measurement devices used in human movement, rehabilitation, ergonomics, sport, health, or interactive technology research.
Hardware & Instrumentation
We support experimental work with sensing, measurement, and interactive hardware. This includes integration and testing of motion capture systems, force measurement devices, wearable sensors, VR/AR equipment, and custom experimental setups.
We can help with selecting suitable technologies, setting up measurement protocols, synchronizing devices, preparing experiments, collecting data, and evaluating system performance in laboratory or applied research conditions.
Grant Collaboration
We actively seek partners for national and international research grant proposals. We can join consortia where our laboratory expertise fits the project goals, especially in areas related to biosignal processing, motion analysis, VR/AR, serious games, wearable sensing, human-computer interaction, rehabilitation technologies, and experimental measurement.
We are interested in both academic and industry-led proposals and can contribute to project concept development, methodology, work package design, experimental planning, technical implementation, and dissemination activities.
Industrial Research & EDIH CTU Cooperation
We conduct applied industrial research and cooperate with EDIH CTU – the European Digital Innovation Hub at CTU. Through this cooperation, we support companies, SMEs, public-sector organizations, and research partners in the development, testing, and validation of digital and data-driven technologies.
Our role is especially relevant in projects that require experimental measurement, sensing systems, biosignal or motion data processing, XR technologies, human-centered testing, and evaluation of prototypes or digital solutions in realistic conditions.
In cooperation with EDIH CTU, we contribute laboratory expertise, research methodology, data analysis, and access to experimental infrastructure. This helps industrial partners explore new technologies, validate concepts, and prepare solutions for further development, implementation, or grant-supported innovation activities.
Typical cooperation may include feasibility studies, pilot experiments, prototype testing, measurement protocol design, user studies, data processing, reporting, and support for digital transformation projects.
